Atlanta Falcons GM Thomas Dimitroff joined Andy and Randy on Thursday and spoke about a number of subjects.

One of the most notable comments Dimitroff made was regarding the health of RB Todd Gurley and Dirk Koetter's words on it..

Dimitroff also spoke about the job the Falcons have done with virtual classrooms this offseason, especially as it pertains to the rookies.

John Fricke isn't convinced those meetings are good enough to get the team read and he asks Hugh Douglas how important actually being on the field is to the learning process.

"I was always a little bit more hands on," details Hugh Douglas. "I would understand the stuff in the classroom, but to actually get out there and do it in practice, have walk throughs just to get a concept about what you want to do, that's where you really, truly learn. You can talk about it all you want but it's really more the applied part of practice where it really sunk in and became second nature. You have to get out on the field and see how all these parts come together.
