The Atlanta Falcons were clicking in all phases of the football in their 38-14 rout over the Washington Redskins. The Falcons offense finished with 495 total yards against a Redskins defense that came into Sunday's match-up ranked 5th in the league in total defense

Atlanta got their running game back on track, surpassing 100-yards on the ground for the first time since Week 2. Tevin Coleman rushed for 88-yards and two touchdowns.

And then it happened. For the first time since November 26, 2017, Julio Jones found the endzone.

It was also another phenomenal outing for Matt Ryan who was 26/28 for 350 yards, 4 touchdowns and 1 INT (the first since Week 2). The quarterback threw to seven different receivers in the Falcons dismantling of Washington.

He spoke to Falcons Radio Network analyst Dave Archer following the game and said it took an entire offensive effort to get the result they wanted.

“I thought we played pretty well,” Ryan said. “It all starts up front. We ran the ball really well, and the pass protection was excellent. And guys on the outside made a lot of plays.”

Ryan also praised the play calling of second-year offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian.

"I think Sark’s done a great job in the two years he’s been here. I think today was a really clear plan of how we wanted to attack this defense. We got the lead early, which was good for us and stayed aggressive. He called a really good game.”

For the Morning Show's Hugh Douglas, this 2018 Falcons offense is reminiscent of the one that went to the Super Bowl in 2016-17 season.

"Watching the game yesterday, and looking at how the ball was distributed, the Atlanta Falcons could potentially get into the playoffs and make some noise. You're talking about seven different receivers--seven different receivers that touched the rock yesterday for 350 yards. That's what made the Falcons offense so potent the year they went to the Super Bowl."
