With the 134th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft the Atlanta Falcons selected University of California-Berkley safety Jaylinn Hawkins. Hawkins is the second defensive player chosen in the fourth round by the Falcons and the fourth defensive player chosen overall by Atlanta in the 2020 draft.

The California defensive back had ten career interceptions to go along with the following career highs as a senior in 2019: fifty six tackles, four and a half tackles for loss, two sacks and two forced fumbles.

As a senior Hawkins was honorable mention All-Pac-12 and earned Cal’s Cotton Award as the Golden Bears’ Most Courageous Player.
