Andrew Luck retired from the NFL at the age of 29 Saturday night.

He was on the sideline for the Kansas City Chiefs' third preseason game. As he stood there, fans were informed he would be calling it a career for their team.

The fans who spend money and buy season tickets. The fans who felt this was their best chance to get to a Super Bowl in a decade. They have been told Luck will be fine by the Colts' organization.

These thoughts all came to an unexpected and dissapointing end when the news broke.

Luck didn't deserved to be booed. But ask yourself: Did these fans have all the details when the news broke?

What if this was your team and you were just told Matt Ryan, Trae Young or Josef Martinez just decided to retire and all you knew about the reason was mental anguish.

Think about it.

How would you honestly respond to such a unthinkable development.if it was your franchise?
