According to multiple reports, the Atlanta Braves are finalizing an eight-year, $100 million contract with phenom outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr.

Former Braves outfielder Brian Jordan joined Andy Bunker and Jon Chuckery on Tuesday to talk about the big news.

"I think it's a great deal for the Braves," Jordan said. "(They) got eight-years for $100 million, and I think that's a steal because if Acuña goes at the rate that he's going, he would demand a whole lot more in the next couple of years."

"It's a great job by (GM) Alex (Anthopoulos) and those guys believed in Acuña and wrapped him up for eight years."

Being a former player himself, Jordan talks about why this is a great deal for Acuña to go ahead and sign at 21-years-old.

"It's security," Jordan said. "You never know when you go out there and you get injured and your career is over. You have an opportuniry to say 'I got security for the next eight years at $100 million. I mean, they can't take that away; baseball is guaranteed."
