The Georgia Bulldogs open up the season against the Vanderbilt Commodores. UGA is being picked by virtually everyone to run away with this matchup.

Earlier in the offseason, the Bulldogs promoted James Coley to offensive coordinator. It is a move that some thought would cause them to open up the offense, but Chip Towers, who covers the Bulldogs for the Atlanta Journal Constitution, doesn't think that will be the case.

"You are going to continue to run the football until they prove that they can stop you" Towers said.  Kirby Smart is still the head coach of this football team.

It still remains to be seen what James Coley will be as a play caller, but there is no doubt about what the identity of this team will be in 2019.
