Georgia State head football coach Shawn Elliott joined John and Hugh for his weekly segment as the team prepares for Louisiana-Monroe.

As they head into their first Sun Belt conference game, Elliott said the development is over now after four weeks, and their focus has shifted to winning a championship.

"To tell you the truth, I told (our team) that the last game that 'nobody was going to hand us anything for winning those first four games or losing those first four games.' Those were opportunity games to build our football program and get us to where we need to be to attack conference play. Now, we're playing for a ring, we're playing for a Championship, we're playing for a Sun Belt East Championship. The opportunities are out there for us to do everything that we want to do. But we have to do a lot of soul searching. There's certainly a new season on the horizon; it starts this Saturday with ULM and we're so looking forward to it."

Looking at head to Warhawks, Elliott knows the task is tough as they get ready for Sun Belt play and ULM QB Caleb Evans.
