John Fricke and Hugh Douglas talk about College Football Coaches most likely to succeed in the long term at their new school. The Associated Press put the rankings together in an article.

Fricke and Douglas go through the rankings in the Top 10 highlighting Georgia Tech Head Coach Geoff Collins, who came in at number three on the list.

Douglas on Georgia Tech Football’s immediate future, “I went to the Georgia Tech Spring Game and the energy was totally different. The fans were upbeat and the students were upbeat. The thing that concerns me is the size of the offensive line. The defensive line was pumped. It is going to be a tough season for Tech for sure, especially having these smaller offensive lineman trying to pass protect. This is going to have to be a quick hit offense. They are going to have to rely heavily on the defense early to have success.”

Fricke then talked about how difficult the Georgia Tech schedule is with bookend games against Clemson and Georgia.

Fricke continued, “With the talent in this state Georgia Tech should turn things around quickly.”
