Grant McAuley joined John and Hugh Friday to talk about the Braves-Red Sox series that opens tonight at Fenway Park.

“They haven’t had this kind of series where they play in the national spotlight yet," said McAuley. "They are going to need all the help they can get to match with the firepower of the Red Sox.”

John asked Grant about his recent article on the third base position for the Atlanta Braves.

“Since Chipper Jones retired in 2012, the Braves have used 28 different third baseman, including four different guys this year," said McAuley. "Giving Camargo is great, but Austin Riley is just a phone call away and the trade deadline isn’t too far in the future.”

When asked about the expectations for the Braves this weekend...

"Winning this series in Boston, it's not about expectations, but it will do a lot for their confidence." said McAuley.
