The Hawks haven't won a game since Trae Young left injured, but that doesn't mean the games they played without him were fruitless.

Atlanta Hawks GM Travis Schlenk explains what he learned about the Hawks with Trae Young out and focusing on a specific player.

"What we saw is Cam Reddish's ability to handle the ball and be a secondary play-maker and that's an encouraging sign for us."

GM Schlenk also discussed Reddish's start to the season and how it does remind him a little bit of another rookie last season.

"He's off to a slow start shooting the ball from 3, but defensively what we've seen is encouraging and let's remember he's a 20 year old kid thrust in to a starting spot. He's working and he's going to get through it just like Trae did last year."
