How UGA can lose to Bama and still make CFP

© Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports
Rick and John are in full-on preperation for the SEC Championship and think the Dawgs can make the CFP even with a loss to Alabama.
ESPN analist Kirk Herbstreit told Get Up! "I think the way the [SEC Championship Game] plays out will go a long way in the argument post-game discussion into Sunday morning. If it’s a game like they had last year in the national championship and Georgia loses a close one like that, even with two losses, I personally think Georgia would have the very strong case [for the Playoff]."
John says too bad for Georgia, there is zero chance a two-loss UGA gets in over Ohio State or Oklahoma. Unless the Committee just bases their votes on what they want to see over what should happen.
Rick doesn't disagree with Herbstreit. Rick thinks if UGA loses to Bama in a close game, they won't lose their No. 4 ranking and Ohio State shouldn't just get in just because.
John has a problem with not looking at a team's win and losses. UGA shouldn't get a spot just because they play in the SEC and have losses to SEC teams.
It's an interesting debate that you can hear in its entireity below.
