Austin Riley or Johan Camargo?

Which player do you think will win the battle to start at third base as spring training rolls on for our Atlanta Braves?

Carl said that the third base position is a fluid situation.

“We’re not going to have a platoon at third base, it never works in baseball because even when both guys are giving you something you’re cheating somebody,” Dukes said. “When you have a guy at Riley’s age you want to continue to develop him. I think Camargo has value, but if Camargo beats out Riley in spring training, just understand that it doesn’t mean it’s going to stay that way. I really think it’s a fluid situation.”

Mike talked about Riley being the guy fans expect to win the job.

“Riley is the guy we’re expecting, Riley’s the guy who’s history we talk about all the time,” Bell said. “Right now you have five games that these guys have played Camargo is batter .333, Riley is batting .308 in the smallest of sample sizes.”
