Julio Teheran dominated the Miami Marlins once again in a 5-0 shutout Wednesday night. The Atlanta Braves right-hander allowed only five hits while striking out nine in his seven scoreless innings of work.

Teheran has done this to the Marlins all season. He's allowed just one run in 32 innings pitched against the NL East rival.

Come the end of the year, the Braves will have to decide whether or not to pick up Teheran's $12 million option. Has his success earned him another year with the Braves?

"I think he has," 92-9 The Game's Braves insider Joe Patrick said.

"He's just a guy that you can rely on, and I think when it comes down to deciding whether to pay a guy $12 million, I think that's worth it," said Patrick. "Especially for the Braves right now and just all the favorable contracts that they have in hand already. That's a number they'd be willing to sign up for another year because of the stability that he gives you."
