After a few puzzling tweets from Atlanta United and President Darren Eales about a new edition to the team, Atlanta United finally announced the signing of Jurgen Damm.

Unfortunately, Damm won't be able to play for the team during the tournament in Orlando, but he'll be eligible to play after that.

Atlanta United broadcaster Mike Conti saw the news and gave 5 Stripes fans a short preview of what to expect from Damm.

United Analyst and 92.9 The Game Broadcaster Jason Longshore joined John and Hugh on Thursday and spoke about what Damm brings to the team and how he'll fit in the attack.

"He's a player who emerged four or five years ago, one of the fastest players in the world," said Longshore. "The problem has been the final ball, final pass, creating chances people are looking for and De Boer has to figure out how to use Damm and that game-breaking speed."

In 2015, a study performed by Pachuca and endorsed by FIFA claimed Damm to be the second-fastest dribbler in the world. He was clocked at 21.89 MPH with a ball in his possession.
