Falcons Right Tackle Kaleb McGary was cleared to return to full activities and participated in practice over the weekend.

With Ty Sambrailo being injured, the Falcons have been using Matt Gono at RT and now the return of McGary had John Fricke and Hugh Douglas wondering if he could be your starter Week One against Minnesota.

"I don't see too many. You don't want to get him hurt, but you want to get him up to game speed," says Hugh Douglas. "I think they'll play it by ear, couple series, but a guy they'll try to save for the season."

"He's a rookie, he hasn't had any chance to really do much of anything because of the issue with his heart," explains Fricke. "Eventually he's going to be the starter, but how long it takes I don't know."
