Atlanta United midfielder Kevin Kratz joined The Morning Show with John and Hugh Wednesday to talk about their big road match against the LA Galaxy on Saturday.

Kratz said he was disappointed with the 2-2 result against NYCFC. “When you’re 2-1 up, and there’s only 20-25 minutes left, you want to take that 3-points and secure the win. I think we can build on that performance and shows that we can compete against anyone,” the midfielder told John and Hugh.

When it comes to facing the LA Galaxy, the team picked up Zlatan Ibrahimovic as he’s toward the end of his career. However, he’s had an immediate impact on the success of the team already this season.

“You definitely have to make sure you don’t give him a lot of opportunities to score," said Kratz. "He’s shown that he’s able to score at any time off of any position.”

Atlanta United has not trailed in a game since their opener against Houston.

Ezequiel Barco made his Atlanta United debut against NYCFC on Sunday. Kratz said he’s a special player.

“His technique is really good," said Kratz. "When he’s on the ball, he’s very, very dangerous.”
