Rivalry Week is upon us Atlanta Falcons fans as the New Orleans Saints roll into town on Sunday afternoon. The Saints (1-1) defied expectations in the 2017 season bcoming the NFC South Champions.

And we all know how their season, and playoff run, ended. Oh, here's a reminder in case you forgot:

And let's not forget the Saints first trip to Mercedes-Benz Stadium where they left with vivid images of Falcons linebacker Deion Jones:

The Falcons and Saints rivalry, at least in our opinion, is one of the greatest in the NFL between both fan bases and players.

Jason Butt, who covers the Atlanta Falcons for The Athletic, joined John and Hugh on Tuesday to talk about how much this game means for both sides.

“It’s a big deal. I grew up in the state of Georgia, so I totally get it. Once the Falcons became consistent winners in the late 2000's with Mike Smith, and the Saints started picking things up consistently with Drew Brees, it really became heated at that point. I have plenty of friends, that on (any given) Sunday: it’s a good day when the Falcons win and it’s a good day when the Saints lose. I totally get the hatred. It's one of the most underrated rivalries in the NFL and it doesn't get as much attention nationally as it should.”
