The Atlanta Hawks wrapped up the first half of the season at just 15-41, which is even worse than they were at this time last season.

To be fair this season has never seemed to be able to get going between John Collins suspension and the various injuries to starters and role players.

Atlanta Hawks Head Coach Lloyd Pierce joined John Fricke and Hugh Douglas and expressed optimism that after the All Star break when if they can get things lined up properly there is a real reason to be excited.

"The biggest challenge of the season has been healthy bodies. From the start with John’s suspension and various injuries at various times. We feel excited about our young core of guys and adding Clint and Teague and grooming Goodwin. We think we have some really good parts, we just haven’t had an opportunity to see them all together and that's the challenge but also the thing we're looking forward to when we come back from All Star break."
