The Atlanta Hawks notched a win without Trae Young on Wednesday night as they took out the Clippers 102-95.

Young missed the game after a thigh contusion he previously suffered didn't heal as quickly as expected.

Hawks Head Coach Lloyd Pierce expects that Trae Young's absence will be just a 1-game setback and that he's in for a big performance against the Thunder.

"Trae will be back, going back home to Oklahoma, he just had a thigh bruise that wouldn't go away but he'll be fine and ready to go when he's in Oklahoma."

"With the season he's having, it's our only trip there, I expect a huge fanfare for him. I expect him to want to play and perform in front of his home, I think he'll be fine.
