Chairman of the NFL Competition Committee and Atlanta Falcons President Rich McKay joined The Morning Show with John Fricke and Hugh Douglas Friday to talk about the new rules in the NFL this season.

He talked about:

  • The psuedo "Targeting Rule" that is being implemented to try to stop players from intentionally tackling head first.
  • Having a much clearer view of what a catch is this season.

He also talked a bit about FIFA's recent trip to Atlanta to scout for future Wold Cup sites.

In great news for Atlanta United and Atlanta Falcons fans, McKay said there would absolutely be games played this season with the Mercedes-Benz Stadium roof open.
