Midday Mock Draft: Eagles drafting for another Super Bowl run

Rick and John wrap up the Midday Mock Draft onday with former Eagle Ike Reese from WIP picking 32nd.

Reese didn’t completely disagree with Rick that the Eagles missed a window to trade Nick Foles after the SB win. He told us the Eagles weren’t getting the value for Foles in free agency that they thought he was worth and that’s why they kept him. Reese told us there is a good possibility that Nick Foles will start the season against the Falcons. 

Reese did tell us he expects Carson Wentz to be ready in Week 1 for the Eagles. 

Reese told Rick he is not mocking a WR at 32, but didn’t say it was out of the realm of possibility. 

The No. 32 pick gives the Eagles a chance to get a player for the future, said Reese. He told us the Eagles are gearing up for another run at the Super Bowl as defending champions but after next year they will have to shed some payroll in order to keep some pivotal players.
