The Denver Broncos then the Indianapolis Colts were on the clock Wednesday in the Midday Mock Draft as Day 3 brought us picks from Mike Klis, of 9 News in Denver and Stephen Holder from the Indy Star.

5. Denver Broncos: Josh Allen, QB -- Wyoming

Klis told us he thinks Case Keenum’s two-year contract is fully guaranteed and he will be there. He thinks John Elway could still take a QB in the draft.

There is still an option for the Broncos to make a move in the draft if there is a player they need. Klis picked Josh Allen for the Broncos.

6. Indianapolis Colts: Quenton Nelson, G -- Notre Dame

Holder talked about the trade and admitted that the New York Jets probably paid more than they should have to move up. He mentioned that as of now the Colts are not anxious to make another move, but aren’t opposed to listening to offers.

It is his opinion that on draft night, if the right scenario presents itself the Colts would listen. Holder told us the Colts have a lot to do on offense after they restructured their defense last year.

With the number of picks the Colts have in the draft, Holder talked about where they need to focus their needs if they hope to improve their squad.

Holder gave us the latest on Andrew Luck saying everything is positive, but said Luck had to restart his rehab and begin from scratch after trying to throw from the first surgery.

New coach Frank Reich will be able to help Luck on his road back to a starting spot, Holder said.
