The Midday Mock Draft with Rick and John continues with Zach Gelb from CBS Sports Radio making the pick.

Gelb talked a little bit about his radio career and how he made it to WFAN in NY and Boomer chides him for not dressing as nice as he does. He told us the rumors about Tom Brady and the Patriots are a bunch of hogwash and Tom Brady has earned the right to not show up for offseason workouts.

He shot down John’s idea that this is the end of the Dynasty for the Patriots telling us there isn’t any team close to beating them other than the Steelers and Big Ben has never beaten Brady. Gelb talked about being skeptical of Julian Edelman coming back this season and being the same player he has always been after his injury.

Gelb confirmed that left tackle is the biggest concern in the draft for the Patriots in his opinion. He agreed with Rick that the Patriots will probably go TE and OL with their first two picks in Round 1.

The secondary is something the Patriots could look at in the draft, but Gelb feels the D-line is more of a need.

Gelb described the way the Patriots use their RBs and use them by committee without having a specific bell cow.

With the 31st pick in the draft, New England picks...
