Voice of the Atlanta United, Mike Conti, joined the show Monday to talk about the Five Stripes after their victory in Orlando Sunday.

“I thought it was the best first half they have played all season home or away," said Conti. "But I can’t overstate how hostile an atmosphere Orlando was. It was by far the most hostile atmosphere the United have played in thus far.”

Hugh asked Mike about strong fan support the team had down in Orlando.

“The Atlanta United supporters stayed after the match, chanted and danced while the Orlando City fans were leaving," said the Atlata United play-by-play voice.

Mike talked to the guys about the chippiness on the pitch last night.

“The players and coaches have tried to downplay the rivalry, but I think we can throw that into the garbage," said Conti. "We almost had a melee near the 80th minute; a lot of players going chest to chest and guys shoving each other. These teams are going to play each other another two times, so it’s safe to say the fuse has been lit.”
