Rick and John debate free agency in College Football.

Rick loves the idea of free agency because it works so well across professional sports, however the NCAA is so stuck in history and tradition that they will never allow it. Rick calls what the players do now, "unofficial free agency" in College Football. Rick thinks that players should have the ability to play, regardless of how many times they want to transfer.

John says that the ability to transfer has always been there, but it's filled with loopholes. John doesn't want the NCAA to allow any player at any level to be able to leave because it allows the kids to act entitled. so, untill you start playing players, letting them bounce from program to program leads to Wild Wild West in CFB. Furthermore, this will also lead to more corruption in the recruting process.
