For Atlanta Falcons fans, the potential for a nightmare scenario in Super Bowl 53 is even more real this weekend. We could possibly see NFC South rival New Orleans Saints and Super Bowl 51 crusher New England Patriots square off in the big game--in our town.

Out of the two, most Atlanta fans would rather not have the Saints play in Mercedes-Benz Stadium. That includes our very own John Fricke:

Saints Radio Network analyst Deuce McAllister said this potential Super Bowl scenario is more so for the fan bases.

"I think it's more so for the fans and not necessarily the players and the team...That's who really gets involved in the hype; 'oh, we'll get to play in our rivals stadium, etc.'"

"For the players, you still have a job to do. Your job is to go out and compete and try to win a game."

And before the Saints even get to that point, they'll face a tough opponent in the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Championship on Sunday.

"At the end of the day, if the Saints don't win, then Atlanta doesn't have anything to worry about."
