The Falcons are reportedly interested in trading up in the NFL Draft to select a stud defensive lineman out of the University of South Carolina.

Atlanta is believed to be pursuing a deal for the 10th or 11th pick in the upcoming draft so they can nab Gamecocks tackle Javon Kinlaw, according to Benjamin Albright.

The Falcons currently own the 16th pick in the first round. Kinlaw, a hulking interior lineman at 6-foot-6 and 315 pounds, has gone as high as 10 or 11 in some mock drafts.

The Cleveland Browns have the 10th pick, while the New York Jets are at 11.

The Kinlaw report appears to comport with a recent report by Peter King of NBC Sports on The Game with Dukes and Bell. King too said he heard the Falcons were interested in a defensive lineman, specifically LSU defensive end K'lavon Chaisson. King pegged Chaisson as "probably the number two edge player in this draft."

Kinlaw has become one of the great underdog stories of this year's draft after spending stretches of his childhood homeless and hungry.
