Brian Billick joined Dukes & Bell and talked with the guys about the injuries the Falcons have suffered this season “Injuries are always going to be a factor, you can’t use it as an excuse but at the end of the day it’s going to be a factor especially from the defensive side of the ball where they were a top 10 defense last year and I thought they would be again.”

Billick continued on the injuries and how you address them “When it’s at a level like the Falcons are facing it’s hard to plug in that way, you always have a ready list of players that are available or could be available but it’s hard when you’re depleted like this from injuries.”

When asked about the rumors surrounding the Cardinals possibly trading Patrick Peterson “It depends on why they’re doing it, if it’s a player who is at the end of his career or is it a player who is just trying to get out for a new contract. As a coach you ask what the price, then you have to ask if it’s the coaches having interest or if it’s just the fans and media wanting to trade for the guy.”

Coach talked about the Cowboys trading for Amari Cooper “To me if you look up the definition of a desperate team making a mistake is a team saying they’re one player away, and if you look at where Dallas is it could be a top 10 or 15 pick, Amari Cooper is a talented player and he’s been very inconsistent, will he be the difference fortunately for them they’re in a division that really sucks.”
