Alabama Head Coach Nick Saban caught a lot of criticism for the injury to Tua Tagovailoa and why he was still playing in a blowout.

Sports Illustrated College Football Columnist Pat Forde addresses that topic when he joined John Fricke and Hugh Douglas.

"If you're going to play him and he wants to play, you let him finish the half. That's the general protocol for most college teams when they are up big."

Forde adds, "they said they wanted to get him a little 2-minute work, and people were like "why does Tua need more work", well at the end of the LSU game in a 1-minute situation throwing a terrible interception, maybe you wanted to rinse that taste out of his mouth and let him have a successful drive. I don't blame Saban for the way that went down."
