Just because most of the NL East got better in the offseason doesn’t mean Atlanta can't win title...

The Atlanta Braves are coming off an unexpected 2018 season with 90 wins, an National League East title and post season appearance.

So what are your expectations for the 2019 season?

The division has gotten better over the offseason with the Philadelphia Phillies, New York Mets and Washington Nationals all bolstering their rosters. (Sorry, Miami Marlins).

"We still should expect a division title, right?" Randy McMichael asks. "Shouldn't we expect that? I mean, everybody's coming back, right?"

Jon Chuckery agrees saying, "Just because (Philly) went and got (J.T.) Realmuto and Bryce Harper doesn't mean the Braves get a free pass for what they did or did not do out there (in the offseason)."

With all the young arms the Braves have in their farm system coupled with the talent they have in the line-up, including the young phenom in Ronald Acuna Jr., Jon doesn't want any excuses.

"You can tell me it's a year early and all these cliches that we have but you're here, and I'm ready for them to win," Jon continues.

And with the team exceeding all expectations last year, and the division getting better...

"How sweet would a division title be this year considering that Washington, the Mets and the Phillies all loaded up to go get you?"
