Former NFL No. 2 Draft Pick Arrested on Drug Charges at US-Mexico Border

CLEVELAND, Ohio (92.3 The Fan) – Greg Robinson was arrested and faces federal charges for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute according to a report by published Wednesday morning.

The website reported that Robinson, who remains in federal custody, was arrested Monday at a border patrol checkpoint near the U.S., Mexico border.

Robinson will become an unrestricted free agent in March.

The Browns did not plan to re-sign the former No 2 overall pick from the 2014 NFL Draft and had already communicated that to his representation a league source told 92.3 The Fan.

Robinson took over at left tackle midway through the 2018 season. He started 22 of the 31 games he appeared in.
