JC Tretter of Cleveland Browns Elected NFLPA President

CLEVELAND, Ohio (92.3 The Fan) – Browns center JC Tretter is the new president of the NFLPA.

The league’s players association made the official announcement Tuesday afternoon.

Tretter, who has an industrial labor relations degree from Cornell, replaces outgoing president Eric Winston.

Tretter was elected by the Board of Player Representatives.

The Browns signed Tretter in 2017 as a free agent after he spent his first four seasons with the Green Bay Packers.

Members of the NFLPA are currently voting on a new collective bargaining agreement this week. The current deal expires following with 2021 season.
