Joe Patrick joined Robb Tribble and Nick Kayal to talk about the Atlanta Braves.

Big news came out Sunday. Alex Anthopoulos was promoted to President of Baseball Operations as well as GM through 2024. Brian Snitker and his coaching staff signed an extension through to 2021. Joe said this is not super newsworthy but it does make people feel secure and that it was well deserved. The Braves won 97 games last season and nobody thought they were going to do that.

This brought Nick to ask about this current roster.

While the Braves have brought in Marcell Ozuna he asked if the team needed more pop from their bats.

"It's a good lineup," said Patrick, 92-9 the Game's Braves Insider. "[But] I don't think it'll be as good as last year." He does say there is a lot of potential and room for growth with the young guys.

There's a loss with no Josh Donaldson, but Anthopoulos is hoping Ozuna has a career season, better than those of his last few years. The lineup is enough to get by and they might bring somebody in to help, according to Joe, as they did last season.
