It looks like former five-star recruit and No. 2 quarterback prospect in the country, Justin Fields, will soon be former Georgia Bulldogs quarterback, according to multiple sources.

Lettermen Row was the first outlet to report that Fields will be trandferring to Ohio State.

Bucknuts confirmed the news.

The rumor that Fields might be transferring from Georgia has been floating for weeks, ever since Dan Wolken told The Morning Show with John & Hugh that Fields had informed UGA of his intent to transfer.

Fields was the No. 2 quarterback prospect in the country, according to 247Sports' Composite Rankings from 2018. But Fields never gained ground on sophomore quarterback Jake Fromm and only threw 39 passes during his freshman campaign. He ran for 266 yards and four touchdowns on 42 attempts but rarely saw the field in important situations.

According to college football columnist Bruce Feldman, Fields is currently on campus at Ohio State Firday morning.
