Atlanta Falcons President and CEO Rich McKay is also the chairman of the NFL Competition Committee and spoke this morning to John Fricke and Hugh Douglas about some of the changes the committee made, especially the changes to pass interference and replay.

"When big plays happen in big games it causes a reaction, which is a good thing, and I think we did that, and the key was to react but not overreact. I did not believe those teams that had historically been against replay would come over and vote for the change, but surprised and happy they did."

Rich McKay also address the possible adjustments to overtime and how the committee handled those discussions.

"That's a proposal that was made by Kansas City. Wasn't sure what interest that would garner, but there was definite interest. There were some things in it that were different, they tabled the proposal til May and amended it. Will be interesting to see what the membership thought is. 24 votes is awfully hard the first time, but there's something to it because there are a lot of teams that were interested in it."
