The Atlanta Falcons have their third preseason game (technically fourth) on Thursday at home versus Washington. After that game, Dan Quinn and company will shift into high gear in  thinking about who will make the 53-man roster, most notably on the defensive line.

Last year, the Falcons kept nine defensive lineman on the roster when they broke camp, but did carry 10 later in the season. If the team carries the same amount of lineman in 2019, Deadrin Senat and Ra'Shede Hageman could be on the outside looking in. Below is a possible depth chart for the defensive line:

DE  Takkarist McKinley, Adrian Clayborn

DT  Grady Jarrett, Jack Crawford

DT  Tyeler Davison, Justin Zimmer

DE  Allen Bailey, John Cominsky

DE  Vic Beasley Jr.

Zimmer made the team out of camp last year, but could be cut in favor of Senat or, Quinn favorite Austin Larkin.

This is not the only position where the Falcons will have to make hard decisions. Running back, linebacker, and wide receiver are also convoluted as well.
