Southeastern Conference comissioner Greg Sankey sat down with College Football Gametime host Jon Chuckery at the 2018 SEC Media Days in Atlanta.

Chuckery asked Sankey about future locations for SEC Media Days, alcohol sales and what to expect this upcoming season. Sankey says that SEC Media Days could become a "portable event."

"Having the College Football Hall of Fame here was a big part of why we came to Atlanta," Sankey said. He went on to talk about the fan event and all that Atlanta has to offer.

Chuckery then asked Sankey his thoughts on SEC scheduling going forward and specifically keeping rivalry games in tact. Sankey agreed that this is quite important and says they have gone through different exercises with scheduling.

Sankey on legalized gambling...

"I think we have to look at our reality that there has been gambling going on both legally and illegally all over the country," said the conference commissioner. Chuckery and Sankey went on to talk about inury reports and how that could affect gambling as well.

Chuckery and Sankey also talked about the growth of basketball in the conference.
