Atlanta Hawks CEO Steve Koonin joins Dukes and Bell and talks about the Hawks joining the NBA 2K League for it's second season, and the addition of six local restaurants to the choices at Philips Arena, adding "We told (our chef) to find the restaurants that represent Atlanta and we're very excited"

Steve also discusses attempting to build an LA Live type of atmosphere at The Gulch stating, "We're hoping to build something like L.A. Live at The Gulch that will connect to the arena in less than a 7 minute walk". He also touches on what they introduced at their 50th anniversary Season Preview Event and the different jerseys you'll be able to see this season at they celebrate the 50th year.

He also speaks about how important it is to them to not just provide a great atmosphere and a great overall building and product, but how important it is for them to win saying "we're going to be a next generation team and a next generation building, and our goal is to bring a Championship to this city." and understanding that "we can build the greatest arena, but if we don't have the product, people will come once, enjoy the building, and not come back"

He's excited about the young guys and another announcement they will have next week and that it's a good time to be in the city with the Braves and United doing well and Falcons football getting going.
