There's Devonta Freeman, and then there's everybody else

The Atlanta Falcons have a problem, one that many teams wish they had.

According to Will Palaszczuk & Paul Crane, a member of the Atlanta Falcons Radio Network broadcast team, the Falcons have a crowded preseason backfield. Devonta Freeman, as of right now however, is the only running back that will definitely be suiting up this season.

With the long list of running backs, this may be one of the toughest positions to decide. With Tevin Coleman gone, guys need to step up. Ito Smith had a good year last year with the Falcons. In Paul's opinion, several running backs have to have outstanding training camps to get push Smith off of this team.

Kenjon Barner brings a special teams element that the Falcons did not have last season, but that may be his only path to a spot on the roster. He will be in competition with guys like Marcus Green and wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus.

The only big back that is on this roster is Qadree Ollison. After his pedestrian start in the HOF Game, he came around and had a good showing in the game against the Dolphins.

Another running back that showed he has the stuff to make this roster during the Dolphins game... Brian Hill.
