The NFL announced a new policy when it comes to the playing of the National Anthem. But have we resolved the issue? Commissioner Roger Goodell said it was a unanimous decision amongst the owners. Immediately after the announcement, Jets owner Jed York said that it wasn’t unanimous but instead, there were owners who abstained from voting.

Hugh said that left him scratching his head. He goes on to say that this is the commissioner essentially leaving it up to individual teams to decide how they want to handle the Anthem moving forward.

John said many players came out with concerns how they weren’t consulted. Unfortunately, Hugh said the players aren’t in a position of power.
