The Toronto Raptors beat two-time defending NBA champions the Golden State Warriors, 118-109, and lead the series 1-0.

Toronto controlled the game and held on to a nine-point lead throughout the game to pull out their first victory in the Finals series.

Toronto Raptors’, Pascal Siakam, had a great game Thursday collecting  32 points, eight rebounds, and five assists. He vowed to dedicate his whole NBA career to his father.

On the other side of the ball, the Golden State Warriors were lead by Steph Curry who picked up 34 points, was 8 for 19 from the 3-point line, but could not secure the win in the first game of the series.

The loss for the Warriors “got so bad a rapper who shall remain nameless, who also is a global ambassador for the Toronto Raptors was seen picking the lint out of Steph Curry’s hair. At the same time donning a Raptor's jersey with Dell Curry's name on the back.
