Andy Bunker and Randy McMichael were joined by Chip Towers from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution who talked about Georgia’s latest quarterback acquisition, USC transfer and former five-star recruit J.T. Daniels.

“I had moved on and certainly thought that before this addition I thought Georgia’s quarterback situation was in pretty good hands. You know when you look Brock Vandergriff is already committed, a 5-star from right here where I live in Bogart, Georgia. You had Carson Beck who was a 5-star at one time. He was a 5-star before his senior season where he lost everyone his junior year. He was on a terrible team so he got devalued down to a 4-star. We get news yesterday, Mike Griffith from Dawgnation broke that D’Wan Mathis had been cleared medically now and he is a sophomore. Stetson-Bennett has always been there as kind of a safeguard and Jamie Neman by all accounts…supposedly the best graduate transfer there was in the game. You felt like they were ok, that out of that group to not only man the quarterback position but probably thrive at it," said Towers when asked if the transfer of Daniels to Georgia came as a surprise.
