The Voice of the LSU Tigers, Chris Blair, joined College Football Gametime to preview today’s Georgia at Louisiana State game in Baton Rouge. Blair on the atmosphere in Baton Rouge, “These people will throw a party at the drop of a hat. On Wednesday you could tell we had a big game coming up on Saturday.”

When asked about UGA’s run defense Blair said, “There has been times early in games that people have been able to run on Georgia but they haven’t been able to convert that into points.”

Blair on Joe Burrow, “He is a talented player and has a solid wide receiver core around him. Distributing the ball to multiple receivers will be key for the Tigers in this one.”

When asked about LSU’s defensive depth Blair said, “I don’t know if there is a lot of depth but there is more than there was a year ago. The linebacker play has been effective against the run because of the size of the defensive line.” Blair went on to talk about some of the injuries the Tigers have gotten on the defensive side.

Blair on Holyfield and Swift, “Chubb-Michel light.” Blair on UGA’s receiving core, “They are not only one of the best groups in the conference, they are one of the best groups in the country.”

Blair on Greedy Williams, “He’s good because no one throws to his side of the field.” Blair went on to talk more about LSU’s secondary and their run defense.
