The Voice of the SEC on CBS, Brad Nessler, joined CFB Gametime to preview today’s game between UGA and South Carolina.

Nessler on the importance of this game for Will Muschamp, “Very important. Gamecock fans think it’s their time. They haven’t faced a Top 10 team in the SEC at home in a few years, it was Georgia and they won that won.”

Nessler on how much we see Justin Fields, “I’ve wavered on that throughout the week but then I sat down with Kirby earlier this week and he said there is no plan at QB. Then Chaney said I would like to see the kid on the field in the right situation.” Nessler went on to say, “I don’t think we see Fields if Fromm is rolling.”

Nessler on the need for UGA to develop a pass rush, “Having Deebo in there is going to give UGA some problems. Don’t sleep on Brian Edwards either. Jake Bentley does know how to run the show.”

Nessler on what he is looking forward to, “I want to see what Tyson Campbell can do. #3 for Georgia is key today. I think South Carolina is going to try and pick on him but I don’t know if they are going to be able to do that.”

Nessler went on to talk about this being the best WR group Georgia has ever had. He also spoke about how the RB depth chart may not be as deep as everyone thinks and the relationship between Kirby and Muschamp. Then Nessler spoke about some other storylines going on in the SEC.
