The Jon Chuckery Show
April 20, 2019 - 11:25 am

Early on in the special G-Day edition of the College Football Gametime Show,  Chris Goforth, Jon Chuckery and Randy McMichael broke down the three biggest strengths and the three biggest weaknesses for the Georgia Bulldogs football team heading into the 2019 season.

Here is each of the guys' list:

Jon Chuckery Strengths

1) Jake Fromm. Chuckery said: "This is by far and away Georgia's biggest strength. I have him as the fourth best quarterback in the country."

2) Offensive Line

3) Identity. Chuckery said: "This team knows exactly who they are."

Chris Goforth Strengths

1) Quarterback

2) Offensive Line

3) Running Backs

Randy McMichael Strengths

1) Quarterback

2) Offensive Line

3) Running Backs

Chris Goforth Weaknesses

1) The wide receiver group

2) Young Defensive Line

3) Outside Linebackers

Jon Chuckery Weaknesses

1) Where is the pass rush?

2) Cornerbacks

3) Special Teams/Return Game

Chuckery also brings up the question: "Is Kirby a really big strength or is there a little Dan Quinn in him?" Randy responded: "Is Kirby a top-five coach in the country or is he just a top-five recruiter?"

Randy McMichael Weaknesses

1) Wide receiver group

2) Where is the pass rush coming from?

3) Youth at cornerback

It's safe to say that the Dawgs are one of the favorites to win it all this year. For UGA it's just a question of utilizing the strengths and overcoming their weaknesses.

Fromm is a seasoned quarterback, who as Randy McMichael says, "has been through wars." The offensive line will allow the Dawgs to stay true to their run-the-ball-down-your-throat identity, and UGA's great backs will do the rest.

As long as head coach Kirby Smart can put together a pass rush, Fromm has some recievers that step up for him, and special teams steps up at times, the Georgia Bulldogs can look forward to a great season.
