Andy Bunker and Bryant McFadden talk about what "financial flexibility" actually means to the Atlanta Braves. The conversation was spurred by relief pitcher and former Brave Craig Kimbrel signing a three-year deal with the Chicago Cubs for $43 million on Wednesday.

"To me financial flexibility means you have options," said Bunker. "Options being draft, trade or sign players, which they can still, do. But if you don't sign (Dallas) Keuchel and you don't make a trade to help your depth at pitching, what does this all mean?"

Both Bunker and McFadden discussed how financial flexibility means "optionality," to steal a word from Atlanta Hawks general manager Travis Schlenk.
