From the looks of it, it appears Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones is suddenly in a contract year because of the adjustment that was made to his contract this year, and the team saying they will renegotiate after this season. Well, the negotiations for the Falcons may have gotten tougher.

What does this mean for Julio Jones?

John Fricke said it means: "If he puts up gigantic numbers this year, he's going to get paid."

However, Hugh Douglas counters saying with Jones getting up in age, he may not see the numer $95 million.

"[He's> in the twilight of his career, and that's going to be the issue. They're going to renegotiate with him but Julio is going to be 30. That's a little long in the tooth for a receiver."
