It's hard to believe but we are a little under two months from the first taste of Georgia Bulldogs football. So what are the expectations for the 2019 season?

The Midday Show with Rick and John discuss the storylines for the Dawgs upcoming season as they team prepares for their annual spring game, G Day, on April 20th at Sanford Stadium in Athens.

The storylines have changed quit a bit since Kirby Smart took over the program three years ago, at least in an ESPN article previewing the 2019 Bulldogs season.

You may remember a few years ago, it was 90,000 plus in Sanford for Smart's first spring game that was the topic of conversation. Last year, it was the battle between quarterbacks: Jake Fromm vs Justin Fields. So, after back-to-back seasons in the College Football playoffs, what should Bulldogs nation be excited about?

"Wide receiver is going to be a question, obviously. Replacing some defensive studs like D'Andre Walker who we had in studio, that's a question," John Michaels said on the storylines heading into this season. "It's not as intriguing unless you're a die-hard football fan like we are."

Rick Kamla said the backup running back position is what he's looking forward to most this season because it's stacked with guys that are ready to show what they can do when given the opportunity.
