Thomas Mott reacts and gives you his thoughts from a Survey of Coaches and Executives on NFL quarterbacks, from an article posted on The Athletic by Mike Sando

Matt Ryan falls under Tier 2, along with Carson Wentz, Matthew Stafford, Deshaun Watson, Jared Goff, and Baker Mayfield.

Tier 1 (Carries the team and wins because of them): Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Patrick Mahomes, Andrew Luck, Philip Rivers, Ben Roethlisberger, and Russell Wilson.

Thomas believes Tier 1 is spot-on.

Ryan is in the top slot at Tier 2 and you could argue he could be Tier 1, but Thomas thinks this is right on. As good as Ryan is, this spot is exactly where Ryan belongs.

Again, this list was determined based on a survey of NFL Coaches and Execs. Cam Newton fell into Tier 3, as does Prescott, Flacco, Carr, and Winston.  These QBs NEED a heavier run game or defense to get wins.

Tier 4 is the "Unproven" tier: Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, Fitzpatrick, Keenum, and Rosen.

This list backs up Tommy's NFL MVP List and tells us that Rodgers is the most feared QB in the NFL, according to coaches.  However, everyone in the first 3 tiers is capable of winning a Super Bowl.  Tier 4 becomes a bit questionable, but if you have a QB in the top 3 Tiers, you are capable of winning a Super Bowl.
