Atlanta United Color Analyst Jason Longshore joined Jon Chuckery and Randy McMichael to recap The 5 Stripes 2-0 win at the New England Revolution last night.

Longshore on New England, “They don’t really have a lot of different ways of playing. If you don’t make mistakes you can expose them. This score could have gotten out of hand.”

Longshore on Frank De Boer’s lineup last night, “I think he got the lineup right. Some people were questioning Barco not starting but the team was able to regroup after the injury to Eric Remedi.”

Longshore on Barco’s big night, “Last year this was Miguel and Josef’s team. Barco was more of an afterthought. Barco is the player you want to play through. He was excellent last night.”

Longshore went on to talk about Josef Martinez’s missed opportunity and his game of late and younger players in the Atlanta United system.
